Now the coat toile is done, I can move onto the jumpsuit. For this I've used the woman's leggings pattern and a simple vest pattern. I attached them at the waist by lengthening the leggings opening and shortening the bottom of the top so then join at the waist.I also had to cut the legging bottoms short as there will be a flare added to them but I'm just focussing on the main body first. Putting the top and leggins together was easy but working out exactly where to cut the top of the pattern in order to add the mesh has been challenging. I think my best bet it to just make it up in fabric and then cut on the stand as I always manage to get calculations wrong!
