These last few weeks in between visiting my parents as they have come down to visit I've been working on the rest of my toiles. So far I have totally finished the first outfit (with the collar), outfit two (of couse as the final outfit is done too), outfit three's cape and top, and outfit four's top and coat. The coat was easy as they were a similar pattern to outfit one's coat but without a collar so had no difficulty with that this time! Again the cape for outfit three was easy as it was the same pattern at outfit one's just without the collar. Of the two tops, outfit four's was easy as it was just a jersey croptop with a small collar and then that leaves outfit three's top which was harder. I started by making the body by using the same middle pattern piece from the jumpsuit. I then had to work out how to create the sleeve pattern. I started by using a normal tshirt sleeve but quickly decided to change to a raglan sleeve as the work was already done for me in terms of the neck to underarm line. After that it was just a case of widening the sleeves to allow for the folds, adding a flare to the bottoms, and attaching it all together with the neck cuff. Onto the rest of the garments!
