I've spent today been putting together the coat for outfit 2 and it's looking pretty good! I'm much happier using this fabric than the softer one I used for outfit one's coat as it keeps it's shape so much more and is much easier to cut out and handle. I'll definitely be keeping that in mind with my other toiles! My only issue so far is the collar is far too small for what I was hoping and designed. I've just come back from seeing Chihoko and she'll helped me with sorting this problem so just need to take off the current collar and reattach a larger one. I'm particularly fond of how the sleeves and cuffs turned out. Other than being slightly too short on the cuffs, they're a pretty good match for my design.
