Whilst the making of the jumpsuit was going well I thought it would be wise to make a start on my coat too, just so that I would have a piece 100% finished by the time of the filming. Today I started the folding of my final fabric I bought (a heavy black wool) and I can feel like it is going to take it's sweet time to be finished! On the left you can see a sample of how it should look, so first folded, then pinned, then ironed in place, then a running stitch is to go down each side of the fold, then a black stick is to go horizonal across as a guide for the writing and finally I can embroider on the writting. I'm already just zoning out thinking about getting back onto it tomorrow!
