So the dress is all cut out and put together. Whilst it was obviously a mistake, I actually quite like the detail of the seams down the front but it's not the clean, simple look I wanted so I'll make sure to rememeber to cut on the fold when it's done in final fabric!  I also managed to cut into the back piece when I was cutting something else out (always check what is under the fabric you're cutting damn it Alex!) and so had to cut out the back piece again. But yet again another problem, I had only bought a small amount or jersey to start with so didn't have a piece big enough to fit the whole pattern so had to improvise and put it together with pieces that would fit into the material left, hence the seam on the middle back. But again, this will be done correctly when it comes to final fabric.

Other than the seams, I am actually happy first time with how this came out, not suprising I suppose as it's such a simple piece, but goot to know I can at the very least make a decent looking dress! I'm happy with the size of the V neck too, I was a little worried it could come out just that little bit too low, but I'm happy with where it sits on the models chest.
